Maitê Who?
Born in Brazil, I started as a designer, became an image retoucher, and landed as an art director. At 22, I moved from Rio to NYC and dove into agency life—from indie places like B-Reel to the big leagues at Ogilvy.
Later, I swapped the subway for sunshine and joined 72andSunny as ACD. in 2017 I helped launch Mother LA as their first Creative Director (also occasional emotional support human).
I eventually returned to 72andSunny as a Group Creative Director, leading work for Pinterest, Adobe, and new business. I also began teaching at ArtCenter College of Design, and discovered a love for mentoring.
Now I freelance across the US and EU for brands like Apple, Nike, Coca Cola, Booking.com, Don Julio, and Hinge. I also started a creative collective because, honestly, I’ve met some brilliant weirdos along the way.
I love what I do—and I really love doing it with people who give a damn.
Let’s make something weird and wonderful together.
