Turning fiction into reality for little Girls.
A Girl Story is the first donation-based film series that combines technology, film, and storytelling to shed light on the global challenge of educating young girls. The animated, emotional story follows the path of a young Indian girl named Tarla who wants to go to school to better her life. Whether she realizes this dream, however, is up to the user. Her story progresses only when the audience makes donations, which unlock new chapters in a chain of YouTube videos. Each donation not only has immediate filmic consequences, but real life consequences as well.

Results
The project got a lot of recognition from the press with post on publications like psfk, creativity, mashable and others.
We also won important awards like One Show Interactive Gold Pencil, a Bronze Cannes Cyber Lion , FWA Site of the Day, 4x Webby Honoreea and a Shortlist on Tomorrow Awards. But most importantly, this work helped support 10 years of education for 58,000 Indian girls.
